The Mason Rail Trail is not far from my house, even though it’s two towns over. I had walked this trail about a decade ago and remembered it being an easy trail.
It was not very easy for an out-of-shape middle-aged woman. It was a bit overgrown and is frequently used by horses. I had planned to ride a mile out, but only made it about half a mile before I felt I needed to turn around. I walked the bike the last little bit as I was exhausted. It was a rather warm day out too.
